Muning was first introduced to Yoga when she was 15. Initially self-taught, she had been exposed to physical postures for years, yet did not feel fulfilled until she was introduced to meditation, breathing, philosophy, spirituality and many other aspects of yoga. This desire to learn more brought her to the completion of a 200 hour certification teacher training program in 2013. From then on, Muning feels that her yoga practice is on the right path to become whole.
Muning’s goal as a teacher is to inspire her students to find balance, happiness and inner peace both on their mats and in their lives. She practices and studies various types of yoga, including Iyengar, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, restorative and Yin. A gentle and soft spoken guide on our team – Harmony Health members feel at peace with Muning.

Jeyzel played tennis in college and obtained a partially torn ACL in her right knee. After a year and half of recovery, she heard discouraging words from her doctor regarding her future in sports. Lost and depressed, her physical therapist mentioned trying yoga as a way to become flexible again. She took one class and for over five years now she has studied yoga. What started as a physical practice became a discovery of mind and body connection. The art, the movement, and the mindful context of yoga is her inspiration and motivation.
Jeyzel lives her adventurous life as an outdoor loving yoga enthusiast in Virginia. She is a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Teaching mostly Vinyasa and Flow Yoga, her classes are alignment based and she places much emphasis on heart openers. She specializes in the Yoga Wheel. As she teaches she continues to learn. She hopes to share her energy with those she meets along her journey.
